Well, I realized I haven't updated in like a whole year(not that I have any followers). Since the last time I posted, we moved back to Eugene! YAY! We are renting a spectacular house from one of my best friends, Estri. She and her little family (Eric, Thera and baby in her tummy) moved to Hawaii! So, we are in this huge 4 bedroom ginormous house with a humungous back yard. Pug dog gets to be outside and run around with out being all tied up. He also has a new friend, Pepper the lab/rot mix puppy we recently adopted. We are saving for a swing set for the kids too. We have a room mate but EJ is awesome and we love his face.
Lily started at Irving Elementary and we found out that she is way behind in reading and math... Way to go Centennial for telling me she was at the same level as everyone else! So, first grade was kind of a struggle for her. Hopefully 2nd grade won't be as difficult. Right now she is in a summer school program to help her get to where she needs to be for 2nd grade. If she continues to struggle, they will most likely test for learning disabilities.
Chris also moved back to the Eugene area so that it would be easier for Lily to go back and forth. Right now our arrangement is that during vacation times, he has her all week and I have her on the weekends and during regular school year time I have her all week and he has her every weekend. I am glad we have a cooperative relationship and have worked out something that is effective!
Cain is growing like a weed and is taller than any of his friends at LCC child center. He has been going there for about 2 months and loves it. It has been really good for his speech too. He is talking in more complex sentences and learning new words everyday. His health has been great for the most part this spring and summer which is very nice.
I had a set back with my schooling that put me back a term for graduation, but I am still on track and not completely derailed. I decided that this year I am going to take the winter term off because that seems to be the time when Cain is the most sick. I am also trying to find a part of full time job, but right now its really difficult.
I am also trying to lose some weight and live a more active lifestyle. This is really hard because I have some really bad habits that need to be broken. I lost about 14lbs then regains it. I have now re-lost 6 of those 14 though. I am working out at least 2 times a week at LCCs gym and trying to eat better and control my portion sizes. Its slow work but it is happening!
I am also trying to make an honest attempt at spending more time with my adult friends. So far its a big huge fail but I am still trying! I wish I lived closer to most of the people I really relate too, but I guess driving out to Harrisburg or Elmira is worth it to see some awesome chicks.
That's all for now, all my many (haha) followers!

I think I'll try this out.
I've decided to start a "real" blog. I have a few posted on my myspace page but that is mostly personal rantings that no one else will ever get to see. For some reason I think maybe people want to know what is happening in my life. So, I will try out this whole blog experience. I may or may not get personal. I may or may not rant. But, I will talk about my family and my life experiences. For now I'll start with what's has been happening lately.
I have two of the best smartest children anyone person could ever ask for. LilyAnn is 5 and in kindergarten this year, and Cain Xavier will be 1 on December 3rd. But anyone who would be reading my blog already knows about my kids :) Raising kids is never what you might call easy but it's really what I live for and what I try to put all my effort into. Believe it or not.
If you didn't already know, I am separated from my husband. It's not something I am willing to go in to detail about and most likely won't really mention again. All anyone needs to know is no we aren't together, and yes we still get along. In fact, we live in the same duplex. I feel that hating the father of my kids is not worth hurting them over. There is no hate. I want my kids to be as close to their dad as they can, and for us, this works.
I am almost finished with my first year at Lane Community College where I am in the Early Childhood Education program. Once I finish the 2 yrs of schooling, I will have my AAS degree and be able to work as a pre-school teacher which includes pre-school, pre-k, kindergarten and working in certified daycare/preschools. I decided to go back to school while I was still pregnant with Cain. I got tired of working crap dead end minimum wage jobs that I just tolerated to get by and pay bills. I need to be able to provide for my children and I don't want to hate myself for going to a job I hate while being away from them. Basically, I am TRYING to improve my life so that my kids life's don't suck.
My life is kind of busy most days. But also, other days it's not at all. I have homework, chores(blech) kids and family. I am perfectly happy with that. I don't mind not going out. Though yeah, sometimes going out to lunch alone or with a friend is nice. I don't party or drink much anymore. I don't see a need to do any of those things anymore. My life is mine and it works for me. I'm also relatively happy for the most part.
